1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PPTX Flattener ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

PPTX Flattener is a free online tool that converts PowerPoint presentation text into non-editable vector graphics (SVG) while preserving the visual layout and non-text elements. The Service is provided "as-is" during this public testing period.

3. Free Testing Period

During the public testing period, the Service is provided completely free of charge. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Implement usage limits or restrictions
  • Introduce paid tiers or subscription plans in the future
  • Change these terms with reasonable notice

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the Service's security features
  • Not use the Service to process files you don't have the right to modify
  • Not abuse or overload the Service with excessive requests
  • Respect intellectual property rights of content you process

5. File Ownership and Rights

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service. Files are automatically deleted immediately after processing.

6. File Size and Format Limitations

Current limitations include:

  • Maximum file size: 50MB
  • Supported format: .pptx (PowerPoint 2007 and later)
  • Processing time: approximately 1-2 minutes per file

These limitations may be adjusted without prior notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
  • That results will always be perfect or match expectations
  • That the Service will be available at all times

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PPTX FLATTENER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PPTX Flattener and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store your uploaded files permanently—they are deleted immediately after processing.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by PPTX Flattener and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PPTX Flattener operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
